Managing Attorney- St. Joseph Legal Aid Office
Qualifications: Candidates must have five years of experience and some degree of supervisory experience. Member of the Michigan Bar in good standing (or ability to be admitted through reciprocity).
Candidates will also be responsible for managing the intake that comes directly to the office from the CALL hotline. They must also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, conflict management skills, the ability to manage attorneys, advocates and administrative staff, the ability to oversee litigation conducted by staff, experience and skills sufficient to implement an array of advocacy strategies, the ability to manage a caseload, and the ability to build collaborative relationships within the community. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
