Managing Attorney
Legal Services of the Virgin Islands seeks a Managing Attorney for its St. Thomas office. Subject to the overall supervision of the Executive Director, the Managing Attorney is responsible for the administration of the local office. Duties include making hiring recommendations, conducting staff evaluations, developing and communicating program priorities and procedures, maintaining a case load and overseeing building maintenance.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience as a legal services attorney or in a related position, have past supervisory experience, and be a member of the Virgin Islands Bar or be a member in good standing in any jurisdiction in the United States with a willingness to become a member of the Virgin Islands Bar.
Spanish fluency preferred.
