Family Law Intake Advocate
Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, Inc., a private, non-profit law firm is seeking a full time Legal Intake Advocate with our Family Justice Department. Under the supervision of an Attorney, the Advocate will interview low-income clients, screen for eligibility representation, provide legal information, follow up and collect documents among other duties. Candidates should have previous Family Law experience and familiarity with District Court procedures.
Salary is dependent upon experience with annual increases available. Our excellent benefits effective on date of hire include 100% employer paid health insurance for an employee, spouse/legal domestic partner, and dependents up to 26 years old, a generous paid time off policy and flex work options after training is complete. A 403b match dollar for dollar up to 5% of an employee’s salary after 12 months of employment and 12 weeks paid parental leave after one year of employment.

Paralegal or legal experience preferred. Training will be provided. Excellent communication and public interaction skills are necessary. Fluent with English/Spanish preferred, however, not required. Salary Depends on Experience.
