Lynne M. Hiortdahl

Lynne M. Hiortdahl has been the Chief Financial Officer for Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County (NLS-LA) since 2006. Prior to NLS-LA, Lynne was the Financial Controller for Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lynne worked as an auditor for McGladrey & Pullen, LLP for 5 years specializing in non-profit accounting and compliance audits. Lynne has a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Greenville, and has been a licensed certified public accountant since 1998. NLS-LA has a budget of $12 million with 114 employees including 49 attorneys. The program operates in four primary languages – English, Spanish, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and Armenian with additional capacity in other common languages spoken in Los Angeles.
