Technical Support Specialist

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: assisting with managing the day-to-day IT operations of the firm infrastructure, including on premises and cloud based services and solutions; implementing changes within Change Management processes; assisting with supporting end users with PC and laptop hardware, networking, and software issues; supporting remote and on premises staff users; identifying innovative solutions for increasing productivity through technology; assisting with managing the security of the solutions in Endpoints, servers, and cloud services; presenting changes and new opportunities to IT Director and firm leadership; reporting on activities and trends to IT Director and firm leadership; and engaging with all staff and team members in a professional manner.
Preference will be given to applicants who have the following: experience in a Legal environment; ITIL Foundation certification; and Microsoft Certifications in Microsoft 365 Security Administration, Modern Desktop Administrator, or Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually depending on experience.

A qualified candidate must have experience with Networking Technologies including DNS, SMTP, DHCP, and SMB; Microsoft Server Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 and newer); and with desktop and server application distribution and updates via Microsoft WSUS server and M365 Endpoint management. They must also have experience in Microsoft 365 Technologies (M365/Office365), including: Windows 10 Professional and Enterprise; Microsoft Teams; Microsoft Sharepoint/OneDrive; Windows Update for Business; Windows Server 2012+ File and Print Services; multi-factor authentication; and Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Domain Services. This position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree.
