Supervising Attorney (Medical-Legal Partnership Project)
Alaska Legal Services Corporation is seeking an experienced attorney to supervise its Partnering for Native Health Medical-Legal Partnership Project (MLP). Due to pandemic restrictions, this position is currently based at ALSC’s Anchorage Office, working in close coordination with the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage. Once restrictions are lifted, the position will likely be located on the ANMC campus. Responsibilities include supervising staff, carrying a caseload, handling the administrative functions for the MLP project, caseload management and review, and maintaining relationships with community partners.
Salary $54,024 - $76,896 DOE. Generous personal leave and benefits package, including partial reimbursement of relocation expenses, provided.
Minimum of three years of legal experience and prior MLP experience preferred. Applicants must be admitted to practice law in Alaska or admitted to practice in another state and eligible for an Alaska Bar Rule 43 waiver.
