Supervising Attorney (Low Income Taxpayer Clinic)
Legal Aid Services of Oregon is seeking a full-time supervising attorney for the Portland Office of its Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. The Low Income Taxpayer Clinic provides legal representation to low-income clients on federal and related state tax matters and conducts education and outreach to English as a Second Language communities.
We seek applicants who have a commitment to justice for low-income persons; excellent legal, project management, and communication skills; and membership in the Oregon bar or willingness to take the next Oregon bar exam. We would prefer but do not require the applicant to have Spanish language ability or another language spoken in the client community and tax or supervisory experience.
