Staff Attorney (Immigration)
Legal Services of New Jersey, a non-profit that provides free civil legal assistance to low income New Jerseyans, has several immediate openings for attorneys to provide legal representation to immigrant detainees, former detainees, and others in removal proceedings.

The positions will require travel to the immigration courts in Newark and Elizabeth, as well as to detention centers throughout the state. LSNJ has offices in Edison and Newark, within walking distance from Newark Penn Station. The strongest candidates will have related experience, such as removal defense, criminal defense, or federal practice. Fluency in Spanish is an extremely important additional capacity.
