Staff Attorney (Housing/Welfare Unit)

Central Jersey Legal Services, Inc. seeks Housing/Welfare Attorneys for its New Brunswick office. We are a non-profit law firm serving the low income communities in Union, Middlesex and Mercer Counties in New Jersey.

This staff attorney positions job duties include providing legal advice, representation in court and at administrative hearings and document preparation in the substantive areas of Housing and Public Benefits law. Job Description: Handling a full range of Housing cases (summary eviction proceedings, habitability hearings and section 8 terminations) and Public Benefits matters (TANF, SNAP, SSI), including administrative hearings, Superior Court litigation, and appeals.

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $68,477.00 - $108,833.00 per year.
