LEGAL AID OF EAST TENNESSEE
STAFF ATTORNEY POSITION AVAILABLE
Legal Aid of East Tennessee seeks a full-time staff attorney available to work out of the Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Johnson City office to assist individuals facing eviction and oversee a new Eviction Prevention grant. The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience practicing law and experience with project management. A demonstrated commitment to high-quality legal work and equal access to justice is required. Candidates must be admitted to the Tennessee Bar or admitted to the bar of another state with the ability to waive into Tennessee. Salary dependent upon experience. Excellent benefits. This position is initially funded for two years. Continuation of this position is contingent on continued grant funding.
