Receptionist (Client Intake Workgroup)

LAFLA is currently accepting applications for the position of Receptionist.


· One (1) year minimum experience as a receptionist or similar front-desk representative.

· Demonstrated ability to function within a high-volume and fast-paced environment.

· Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with individuals from diverse cultures with tact and sensitivity.

· Excellent computer and data entry skills.

· Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Examples of Duties:

· Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls from applicants and clients seeking legal assistance.

· Provide basic information and referrals to applicants, both in-person and via phone/email.

· Accurately input applicant and client information into online databases.

· Schedule appointments and communicate via email and Microsoft Teams with colleagues and partners.

· Perform other clerical receptionist duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
