Receptionist (Client Intake Workgroup)

LAFLA is currently accepting applications for the position of Receptionist.
NOTE – This position is part of a special program created using designated funds. There is no assurance of ongoing funding or employment beyond April 2022.
- One (1) year minimum experience as a receptionist and demonstrated ability to function within a high volume and fast-paced environment;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Ability to handle high volume of calls;
- Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with individuals from diverse cultures with tact and sensitivity;
- Excellent computer and data entry skills;
- Excellent oral skills; and
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Answer high volume of calls, enter into website, and refer clients;
- Schedule appointments;
- Make appropriate referrals to other organizations;
- Assist walk-in applicants and cover the front desk as needed; and
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
