Pro Bono Director
Description:
The new attorney will work with FHJP’s Advocacy and Legal Directors to develop and execute a new health justice pro bono program focused on the recruitment of law firms and solo practitioners to represent clients in need of Medicaid eligibility and services. Work will include: development of materials & trainings to support pro bono representation and supervising cases placed with pro bono attorneys. The position will also involve development including fundraising, event planning, and awareness campaigns regarding FHJP’s successes in securing the healthcare rights of low-income Floridians.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Requirements:
We are seeking an attorney with at least 2 years of experience representing clients, with a preference for legal services attorneys experienced in development of legal resources for low-income clients.
The candidate should be passionate about social justice, both creative and detail-oriented, enterprising, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as organization and writing skills.
Member of the Florida bar preferred but not required.
