General Practice Attorney (Housing and Housing +)
Virginia Legal Aid Society seeks energetic, creative attorneys for two positions in our Suffolk regional office. Please see Employment Opportunities at vlas.org for details; hybrid remote/in person possible. Full time; Starting salary $60k+ DOE; excellent benefits. EOE.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligible for admission.
Preferred: demonstrated commitment to the zealous provision of legal services to limited-income individuals; understanding of the dynamics of housing law and its impact upon low-income people; ability to develop effective rapport with diverse client community, staff, and agency partners; experience and interest in outreach and community lawyering practices. Spanish language ability a plus.
