Financial Officer
Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia (LASEV) is seeking a full time Financial Officer to be a key member of our management team and have direct responsibility for the accounting and financial operations of the firm. The Financial Officer will be responsible for the day to day accounting, expense allocation, financial planning and preparing reports for the Board, the executive director and funders.

The candidate should be a Certified Public Accountant with at least five years’ experience, preferably with a non-profit. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting and a desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment that often requires multi-tasking and flexibility while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. A passion for justice and fairness, along with a sense of humor are required.
