Development & Grants Coordinator
Legal Services of New Jersey is a dynamic non-profit law firm seeking an experienced fundraising professional to join our development team as our Development & Grants Coordinator. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for the maintenance and expansion of LSNJ’s government and private grants funding, which includes research, writing, and managing of funding proposals and reports. Other duties may include the data collection and reporting for a specific portfolio of LSNJ project grants.
As a member of LSNJ’s development team, your other responsibilities will include assisting with the following activities:
•Annual Campaign for Justice statewide fundraising appeal (in print, online, and via email)
•Special events such as the annual Equal Justice Awards Reception (from planning, to helping solicit sponsorships, implementation, and follow-up)
•Maintaining accurate records for donors and for all fundraising activities
BA/BS degree, strong data analysis, Microsoft excel/word skills and excellent writing and communication skills required. Experience with grants in a nonprofit environment; knowledge of program budgeting (grant compliance and outcome measurement) and experience working in a nonprofit institution highly desirable.
