For more information, please visit www.lafla.org.   The Position: The Communications and Marketing Coordinator will help the Communications and Marketing Manager identify, conceptualize, create, and execute digital media campaigns. The Coordinator will help LAFLA boost its online engagement, raise its visibility, elevate its reputation, and connect more community members with LAFLA’s services and resources. Therefore, this position requires excellent writing and storytelling abilities and strong project management skills, with an emphasis on digital communications.
Requirements: 
QUALIFICATIONS: • BA/BS degree in communications or related field such as journalism, public relations, or graphic design; • Impeccable oral and written communication skills; • Experience with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn); • Knowledge of social media analytics software (e.g., Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) to track audience engagement, social media trends and campaign performance; • Experience with graphic design and/or video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva); • Experience with CMS software (e.g., WordPress); • Copywriting and editing skills; • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills; • Strong administrative skills and self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks under minimal supervision in an effective and efficient manner; • Ability to work under pressure and respond to deadlines without sacrificing quality; • Bilingual in a language other than English preferred.   EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: • Assists with development and execution of social media, web, and email campaigns. • Coordinates, creates, and distributes content for social media, website, and emails. • Creates and maintains editorial calendars for various digital platforms. • Tracks engagement across digital platforms and make recommendations on strategy. • Monitors social media channels and interacts with community members. • Updates website in coordination with internal teams. • Supports strategic communications and marketing efforts. • Fulfills requests for marketing materials (including but not limited to fliers, presentations, event signage). • Provides event support, including planning and day-of coordination. • Assists the Chief Development Director and Communications & Marketing Manager in drafting materials related to the Access to Justice Gala, including corporate sponsorships; • Works collaboratively with the Development Team on development-related projects as needed. • Other duties as assigned.
