Case Manager

Description: 

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, a private, non-profit law firm is seeking a permanent full time case manager.  Under the supervision of the Guardianship Advocacy Project Director, employees in this position will manage a significant caseload, performing a range of paralegal and clerical duties in support of assigned unit Attorneys. In addition to case management, the case manager will work directly with the attorneys, ensuring files are updated in the case management system, preparing monthly case reports, drafting various notices and petitions, and other related duties. 

This position requires attention to detail, organization, and ability to handle work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of cases

Salary is dependent upon experience with annual increases available.  Our excellent benefits effective on date of hire include 100% employer paid health insurance for an employee, spouse/legal domestic partner, and dependents up to 26 years old, a generous paid time off policy and flex work options after training is complete.  A 403b match dollar for dollar up to 5% of an employee’s salary after 12 months of employment and 12 weeks paid parental leave after one year of employment.

 

Requirements: 

This position will have minimal client contact.   Paralegal experience preferred, excellent communication and writing skills, fluent with English/Spanish preferred, however, not required.  Salary depends upon experience.  Employment is contingent upon passing a background check.
