Attorney (Social Security Disability)
Legal Services of New Jersey has an immediate opening for an attorney to represent low-income clients in SSI/SSDIB matters throughout New Jersey, before the Social Security Office of Hearings Operations, the Appeals Council and federal court. The strongest candidates will have previous experience with SSI/SSDIB cases, with people who may be coping with a variety of physical and psychological impairments, and with representation of low-income people. However, we will be willing and able to hire and train a candidate with an excellent academic record and a demonstrated commitment to assisting and advocating for low income people.
Spanish fluency a plus.
