Attorney (Immigration)

Legal Services of New Jersey, an Edison-based non-profit that provides free civil legal assistance to low income New Jerseyans, is expanding its Immigration Representation Project. We have several immediate openings for attorneys to provide legal representation to immigrant detainees and other noncitizens facing deportation.  The positions will require some travel to ICE detention facilities and immigration courts in Newark and Elizabeth, and USCIS offices in Newark and Mount Laurel.  While previous related experience will be highly valued, we will also consider hiring and training candidates with an excellent academic record and demonstrated commitment to assisting and advocating for low income people.  Spanish fluency highly desirable.
