Harvey McKinnon has been a fundraiser for over 40 years and is recognized as one of North America’s leading fundraising experts. His consultancy raises money for hundreds of non-profits in Canada and the USA. He is a seasoned trainer who has delivered fundraising keynotes at conferences around the world.

A frequent master-class trainer, he has authored six books – most recently The Healthy Nonprofit (2023) as well as How to Create Lifelong Donors (2020). His best-selling book, The 11 Questions Every Donor Asks, is a major gift training manual for fundraising departments throughout the US and Canada. He also co-authored the #1 bestseller The Power of Giving, which has been translated into nine languages.

Harvey calculates he’s spent 100+ years on a variety of non-profit boards. His company Harvey McKinnon Associates has offices in Toronto and Vancouver and works with dozens of non-profits in Canada and the US. 
 

 

 

 

 




Andy Robinson (andyrobinsononline.com) provides training and consulting for nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies. Over the past 28 years, Andy has worked with clients in 47 US states and across Canada.

Since the pandemic began in March 2020, he has designed and facilitated nearly 175 online meetings, webinars, and remote workshops covering a variety of topics, including fundraising, board development, marketing, leadership development, facilitation, planning, change management, and train-the-trainer programs.

Andy is the author of six books, including Train Your Board (and Everyone Else) to Raise Money, www.trainyourboard.com. His latest book is What Every Board Member Needs to Know, Do, and Avoid. He lives in Plainfield, Vermont.

Each registration fee covers one participant.

MIE Subscribers: $75
Non-subscribers: $125
Group discount rate (MIE Subscribers Only) 5 or more registrants: $50 per person


*Please note: MIE uses PayPal as its credit card payment processor. PayPal has recently changed their interface to encourage checking out with a PayPal account, however it is still possible to check out as a guest and use your own credit card.*

Registration Information & Policies
Registration fees are non-refundable. MIE will provide a credit for the registration fee which may be used by any staff at your organization for any future MIE events (trainings, conferences, webinars) or MIE subscription payments. Credits do not expire. Late cancellations may be subject to a deduction in credit due to unavoidable charges incurred. Registrants who do not cancel before the start of an event will not be credited, however, they will receive access to the event materials or recordings. An event registration may be transferred to a colleague at the same program at no additional cost. In most cases, registration transfers may be made at any time prior to the start of an event. Please notify MIE of substitutions as soon as possible. If a registration transfer is not practicable, credit will be provided instead.
