MIE Announces New Director of Programs
As of April 18, I am very happy to step into a newly expanded Director of Programs role with MIE. I have so appreciated the opportunity to work with a number of MIE subscribers on resource development efforts during the last ten months. I continue to be impressed by the investment and engagement volunteers provide to pursue MIE's mission to promote excellence in management to ensure high quality advocacy on behalf of low-income people. I am excited to work with an even broader array of MIE volunteers through this expanded position.
Through the Director of Programs role, I look forward to continuing the strides we are making in supporting legal aid fundraising capacity, including the annual fundraising conference, the ABArray TA project, our first annual resource development survey (which you can learn more about here in the MIE Journal), and new spaces for training and networking among fundraisers. This full-time position will also allow me to work alongside our volunteers to support cornerstone MIE programming, such as Supervising Legal Work and New Executive Director trainings and the MIE Journal, as well as to develop additional innovative remote and in-person trainings, engaging resources, and effective spaces for collaboration.
I am thrilled to join MIE in this new capacity, and I look forward to connecting with subscribers in new ways in the coming months. I will also be at the Equal Justice Conference in May -- please say hello if our paths cross in Minneapolis!
