Resource Development & Grants Manager
Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida is seeking a Resource Development & Grants Manager for a fast-paced non-profit legal services law firm located in Daytona Beach. The Resource Development Manager will join an entrepreneurial Resource Development team. Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida (CLSMF) is the largest provider of free legal aid for low to moderate income residents in Central Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for grant portfolio; maintains grant reporting and proposal writing for institutional funders
- Assists in the coordination, administration and management of grant-funded projects, including preparation of various statistical, financial or client demographic reports required by funders
- Researches and prepares new institutional funding proposals and applications
- Researches and develop foundation proposals, ensuring that proposals, budgets, outcomes/deliverables, plans and other proposal elements are well-written, compelling and consistent with the strategic direction and funding needs of CLSMF
- Assists in the review of grant conditions and local, state and federal laws related to non-LSC grant funding requirement and in ensuring CLSMF compliance
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge of non-profit principles, including grant writing, foundation solicitation, and program implementation
- Ability to conduct research on grant and foundation funding opportunities.
- Strong writing and proofreading skills required. Must be able to write at graduate level
- Interpersonal relations, team player attitude, personal integrity, strong work ethic, non-profit orientation, ability to learn quickly, flexibility, positive attitude and high energy required
- A minimum of three years of experience in resource development and grants management activities in an entrepreneurial non-profit environment
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Graduate degree and/or Juris Doctorate preferred
- Must have valid FL Driver’s License
