Public Defender

Serve as counsel for adult & juvenile clients who are charged with criminal activities, and financially unable to obtain counsel. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law. Applicants must apply to practice in the Zuni Tribal Court if selected. applicants must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and research skills. Salary is negotiable. This invitation is unrestricted; however, preference shall be provided to Native American individuals, Indian-owned Organizations and Businesses with demonstrated experience in Indian Law.
