Litigation Attorney
Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, a non-profit, public interest law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its Consumer Rights Project to primarily provide direct representation to senior citizens or individuals with disabilities facing a guardianship proceeding. Candidate may also assist low income clients with other cases involving deceptive trade practices, payday/title loans, foreclosure, and other consumer protection issues, along with community outreach and other matters as assigned.
Prefer a candidate with five years of litigation experience, as well as familiarity with state and federal district courts, and state and federal consumer protection statutes. Excellent legal writing and communication skills a must. Prefer bi-lingual candidate, English/Spanish and Guardianship experience but not required. Qualified candidates must possess an active/good standing Bar License from any United States jurisdiction. Salary depends upon experience.
