Deputy Director-Executive Director
Extraordinary opportunity to lead a highly effective, financially sound advocacy organization. The New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty seeks a highly competent leader to join the organization as Deputy Director with the intention of becoming the Executive Director within a year. Job duties include assisting in leading the organization, fundraising, managing finances and operations, liasing with the Board, taking an active role in advocacy and preparing to step into the ED role. Ideal candidate is an extraordinary leader, having been successful in leading advocacy campaigns, non-profit management, fundraising, working with public officials and media, and having a background in poverty or civil rights advocacy. History in NM and fluency in Spanish preferred.
