Deputy Director
This is an executive level position that will be in charge of the strategic operations of the organization as determined by the Executive Director. The Deputy Director will also serve as General Counsel to Community Legal Services and is directly supervised by the Executive Director.
The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of ten years of legal experience as a practicing attorney and a minimum of five years of experience in strategic operations including grants management and administrative and leadership responsibilities. Strong preference will be given to candidates who have worked in legal services and/or demonstrated commitment to high quality legal assistance and strategic advocacy on behalf of low-income people. Must be a member of the Arizona State Bar.
